Τα Oscars 2014... στη σκιά του Πούτιν

H Ellen DeGeneres ετοιμάζεται να… διασκεδάσει το κοινό με τις ατάκες της, η Ακαδημία φοράει τα καλά της, και η 86η Τελετή Απονομής των Βραβείων Όσκαρ ξεκινάει απόψε το βράδυ, στη σκιά του… χορού του Βλαντιμίρ Πούτιν στην Κριμαία.
Τα Oscars 2014 αποτελούν την κορύφωση μιας ακόμη συναρπαστικής κινηματογραφικής σεζόν, με φαβορί και αουτσάιντερ να αγωνιούν, καθώς βραβεύσεις άλλων οργανισμών και θεσμών που έχουν προηγηθεί, έχουν δώσει μια πρώτη γεύση του τι θα πρέπει να περιμένουμε.
Παραδοσιακά, οι κατηγορίες που συγκεντρώνουν το μεγαλύτερο ενδιαφέρον είναι εκείνες της Καλύτερης Ταινίας, και των ανδρικών και γυναικείων ρόλων.
Στην πρώτη θα διαγωνιστούν οι ταινίες American Hustle, Captain Phillips, Dallas Buyers Club, Gravity, Her, Nebraska, Philomena, 12 Years A Slave και Wolf Of Wall Street, ενώ για τον α’ ανδρικό ρόλο θα μονομαχήσουν οι Christian Bale, Bruce Dern, Leonardo DiCaprio, Chiwetel Ejiofor και Matthew McConaughey, και για τον α’ γυναικείο ρόλο οι Amy Adams, Cate Blanchett, Sandra Bullock, Judi Dench, Meryl Streep.
Υποψήφιοι για το Όσκαρ β’ ανδρικού ρόλου είναι οι Barkhad Abdi, Bradley Cooper, Michael Fassbender, Jonah Hill, Jared Leto, υποψήφιες για το Όσκαρβ’ γυναικείου ρόλου οι Sally Hawkins, Jennifer Lawrence, Lupita Nyong’o, Julia Roberts, June Squibb, ενώ υποψήφιοι για το Όσκαρ σκηνοθεσίας είναι οι David O. Russell, Alfonso Cuaron, Alexander Payne, Steve McQueen, Martin Scorsese
Οι ταινίες με τις περισσότερες υποψηφιότητες (συνολικά 10) είναι το American Hustle και το Gravity, τα οποία και προβάλλουν ως φαβορί για το Όσκαρ καλύτερης ταινίας, μαζί με το 12 Years A Slave (9 υποψηφιότητες).
Έξι υποψηφιότητες συγκεντρώνουν οι ταινίες “Captain Phillips”, “Dallas Buyers Club” και “Nebraska”, ενώ πέντε οι ταινίες “Her” και “Ο Λύκος της Wall Street”.
